HOUSTON (JUNE 24, 2017)– Summer flavors from blueberries to fig have found a new home among the toppings for the new Farm to Table inspired pizzas available at Russo’s Restaurants through August.
Sourcing the freshest ingredients from local farmers markets, there are six additional menu item pizzas such as truffle and mushroom, prosciutto and fig, and blueberry and ricotta that are available through August. Menu offerings vary by location.
“These new pizzas take unique combinations of fresh fruits and vegetables that can easily be found at farmers markets across the country this time of year and create savory offerings,” said Chef Anthony Russo, CEO and Founder of Russo’s Restaurants.

Prosciutto & Fig
Parma ham, mozzarella cheese, arugula and fig, drizzled with fig balsamic spread.
Chicken sausage with roasted peppers, ricotta and mozzarella cheese in an extra virgin olive oil sauce.

Fresh herbs and ricotta cheese spread with fresh blueberries, feta cheese and caramelized onions.
Cremini and portabella mushrooms, fresh mozzarella, arugula and white truffle oil.
Italian Meat District
Fresh-made Italian sausage, pepperoni, prosciutto, portabella mushrooms, pancetta, red onions and mozzarella cheese.
Thinly-sliced brussels sprouts with olive oil garlic sauce, fresh basil, pancetta ham, goat cheese with balsamic glaze.
