Dare we say, some of the best pizza in town? Anthony Russo’s expanding pizza empire offers New York-style thin or Sicilian-style thick crust made from scratch, with homemade tomato sauce and excellent cheeses. The most notable pie is the “Greek” pizza, made with fresh Roma tomatoes, basil and spinach, both mozzarella and feta cheese, onions, black olives and a liberal sprinkling of minced garlic. Also try the estimable calzones, stromboli and meatball sandwiches (but fuhgeddabout the muffulettas). Many more locations (see web site).
